About

Gaming first.
Operations minded.

I go by Dragon / Zach. Most of my experience comes from Minecraft communities, server operations, staff leadership, modpack work, hosting, and helping projects turn player feedback into better experiences.

How it started

TechByTech

TechByTech started as a multi-modded server community where I hosted several modpacks at the same time. As the community evolved, it became increasingly focused on InsaneCraft and grew alongside that audience.

That meant more than just keeping a server online: managing modpacks, custom recipes, configuration, player issues, community expectations, and the people helping operate everything behind the scenes.

What I enjoy

Making communities work

I like the combination of technical troubleshooting and people-focused management: tuning a server, setting up permissions, solving a panel problem, reviewing a bug report, handling staff decisions, or improving how a community communicates.

I am not presenting myself as a full-time software engineer. My strength is practical server work: configuration, infrastructure, modpacks, plugins, systems, moderation, and project coordination.
